Another day, another headache.

So today I woke up with a massive headache and a sore throat. Plus I'm exhausted. I was doing so well, for about 2 days that is. Now I have this physical set back. Apparently a mental set back as well.
I had a vivid dream that involved myself and family on a beach in Costa Rica. I've never been there but I've heard stories about the wonderful beaches and tropical weather from my father. So we're on the beach and there's vendor selling donuts. So what do I do? Oh yes, I go up to him take a chocolate cover donut and practically inhale it! I don't know why I dreamed of donuts, of all the deserts that isn't one I would pick in my conscious mind. I would have picked some rick decadent chocolate cake or some gummy worms even before I thought of donuts. The worst part about it was that I didn't realize I was dreaming and right after I ate that donut I thought, "Oh my god, what have I done!!!!???" Then I woke up to feeling like crap.

But I haven't broken down completely. After gathering myself, eating some breakfast and gargling with warm salt water I feel a lot better. I didn't instantly feel the need to eat a donut much to my pleasant surprise!

So once again, I'm doing well despite the sore throat and irritating headache that comes and goes. I am fighting the good fight.
