A new goal too!
Oh and I want to add that I am going to start some crazy ass training to run a half marathon! I can't believe it! I'm so excited for it though.

Click the link above to see the marathon I'll be running! The marathon is on June 27, 2009. That gives me 19 weeks to train. It gives me enough time and then some to follow a ten week program gearing you to run a half Marathon. The first 9 weeks I'm going to be getting my lazy body into shape. The guide specifically states that before you begin the 10 week course you should, "be able to run 30 minutes comfortably without stopping." With the shape I'm in I could probably only run 5 minutes. I found another guide for beginners in marathon running that combines running/walking at first along with other cardio workouts. I'm going to be using that guide to get my butt into shape. I think alternative cardio will help me with not getting burnt out.
I'm so excited for this!! I've never set such a goal in front of myself. The only downfall is that registration costs $100 dollars. The good side to that is I will have that $100 dollars by May. It will be a birthday present to myself if you will plus I just received a raise which will boost my finances! Pray for me that I'll be able to follow through and meet this goal!!!
