My baby is two...

That's right, this past Saturday my son turned two years old. It's quite amazing to think about actually...this beautiful little man that I brought into the world is already two years of age. Just thinking about it makes me well up with tears. We had just a small birthday party with the grandparents and aunties/uncle. It was intimate and he sure didn't mind. His favorite present was one actually from mommy and daddy. It was a train from the show Thomas and Friends. He was elated with it and kept walking around saying, "Thomas!" "Oh, Thomas!" It was so cute, everyone was laughing and repeating it in his oh so distinct voice with a slight lisp.

This week I'm also on a vacation which I had taken off in advance, six months ago. It's a very good feeling to have this time off. I feel relaxed and I'm able to get a lot of things done. So far I've cleaned out my oven and bathroom. Tomorrow I'm doing some serious spring cleaning, organizing my closets and the storage shed outside. Should be a good time!

Oh! I've still been running 6 out of the 7 days in a week. I have been looking for an exercise bike though or some sort of aerobic machine. I need to do about 2-3 days a week of low-impact training so I can save my knees and not get shin splints.
