le sigh

So, my husband and I have been trying to buy a house since July now, but t no avail. We put an offer on a house on july 1st and because it's a short sale, have heard nothing back. Seriously the bank hasn't responded whatsoever. Now we've put an offer on another house about a week ago. This is a bank owned property...what do you know? They haven't responded either! It's so frustating this entire process. But if it doesn't happen then it doesn't happen I guess. :(
